Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-05-24

What this means for you
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, you can ask businesses not to sell or share your personal information. This page is how you exercise that right at Grocery List Plus.
1. What this preference does
Toggling the preference below tells us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or other commercial purposes. We honor the request whether you have an account with us or not.
2. Where Grocery List Plus stands
We do not sell personal information for money. We share some data with service providers (cloud hosting, payment processors, email delivery) under written contracts that prohibit them from using it for their own purposes — that's "service-provider sharing" under CCPA and is not what the "Do Not Sell or Share" preference covers.
What this preference DOES suppress:
- Cross-context behavioral advertising via third-party ad networks
- Any future arrangement that would constitute "sale" under CCPA
3. Apply your preference
Your preference is currently the default (sharing for advertising is permitted, subject to your cookie consent choices).
4. Signed-in users
If you're signed in, your preference is stored on your account so it follows you to every device where you sign in. If you're not signed in, the preference is stored in your browser. Signing in later automatically uploads your browser preference to your account.
