Get Grocery List Plus
The full product runs in your browser today, free. The iOS and Android apps are on the way.
The mobile apps are still in development
Grocery List Plus is not listed on the App Store or Google Play yet, so there is nothing to install from this page today. We would rather say that plainly than show you a badge that goes nowhere. When the apps are published, the download links will appear right here.
In the meantime everything below works right now, in any browser, on the same account you will use on your phone.
Start using it on the web
Create a free account
You pick your ZIP code and a primary store — that is what tells us which shelf prices to show you.
We set up your Starter Inventory
A starting set of common household staples lands in My Inventory so you are not typing in your whole kitchen on day one.
Build a list and compare
Add what you need, then compare the basket across your stores. Items we cannot price are shown as unpriced rather than guessed at.
Shop and check off
Tick items off as they go in the trolley. What you bought updates My Inventory, so the next list starts closer to right.
What you get
My Inventory
What your household already has, so a list starts from what you are out of rather than from a blank page.
Grocery Lists
Keep several — a weekly shop, a party, a stock-up. Add items by search, from a recipe, or from Suggested Items.
Price comparison
Your whole basket priced across your Primary and Preferred Stores, so you can see which trip actually costs less.
Suggested Items
The app learns your buying cycles and suggests what is due, instead of you remembering that you are nearly out of coffee.
Recipes and Meal Maker
Thousands of recipes, plus a Meal Maker that builds meals around what is already in My Inventory.
Food Recall Alerts
We match published FDA and USDA recalls against the products you own and tell you when one affects something in your kitchen.
Every feature explained in full on How it works.
What the mobile app will add
The app is not a copy of the website on a smaller screen. It is built for the part of this that happens standing in a shop with a trolley.
Shop, in walk order
Your list reorders itself into the order you walk your store, with a running total, so you stop doubling back across the shop.
Barcode scanning
Scan a package to add it to a list or match it against what you already own, instead of typing the name.
Recall alerts on your phone
A recall that affects something in your kitchen reaches you the same day, rather than the next time you open a browser tab.
More about in-store shopping on Shop. Anything you set up on the web — your stores, lists, walk order and preferences — is waiting in the app the day you install it.
