Ingredients

1½ cups old-fashioned oats

1½ cups Cocoa Pebbles cereal

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

6 tablespoons hot water

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan lightly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the slightly melted peanut butter with the hot water. Whisk together until well blended and smooth.

  3. Add the old-fashioned oats to the peanut butter mixture and stir thoroughly until every oat is evenly coated.

  4. Gently fold in the Cocoa Pebbles cereal, being careful not to crush the pieces. Mix until everything is well combined.

  5. Transfer the granola mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.

  6. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes. Every 15 minutes, gently stir the granola to promote even toasting and prevent burning. The granola is done when it feels lightly crunchy and has a light golden-brown color.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Break up any large clumps with a spoon or your hands once it has firmed up slightly.

  8. Allow the granola to cool completely to room temperature before transferring to an airtight container. Store for up to 2 weeks.
