Ingredients

1 can (15.5 ounces) low-sodium black beans, undrained

1 can (15.2 ounces) reduced-sodium corn, drained

1 can (14.5 ounces) low-sodium crushed tomatoes, undrained

1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before beginning to prepare the recipe.

  2. Pour the contents of the can of black beans, including their liquid, into a large pot or saucepan.

  3. Add the drained corn and the crushed tomatoes with their juice to the pot with the beans.

  4. Sprinkle the chili powder over the mixture and stir well to combine all ingredients.

  5. Place the pot over medium heat and stir frequently until the chili is heated through, about 5-7 minutes. The mixture should reach a gentle simmer.

  6. Transfer any leftover chili to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.
