Ingredients

3/4 cup fresh orange juice

1.5 ounces silver tequila

0.5 ounce Grand Marnier

0.5 ounce grenadine

Ice cubes

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes, filling it about three-quarters full.

  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the orange juice, silver tequila, and Grand Marnier. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well chilled.

  3. Strain the mixture into the ice-filled highball glass.

  4. Slowly pour the grenadine down the inside of the glass near the edge, allowing it to sink to the bottom and create the distinctive sunrise gradient effect.

  5. Place a maraschino cherry on top as garnish and serve immediately.
