Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Recipe GLPR3485cea9e5edec
Buttery, cheesy biscuits that rival the restaurant favorite. A tender crumb made with Bisquick baking mix, sharp cheddar cheese, and a touch of garlic and parsley finish these golden-brown biscuits. The garlic butter brushed on top while still warm makes them absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
4 tablespoons cold butter
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix with the 4 tablespoons of cold butter. Using a pastry blender or two knives, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs with small pea-sized pieces of butter still visible throughout.
Stir in the grated cheddar cheese, 1/4 teaspoon of the garlic powder, and the milk. Fold the ingredients together gently by hand until just combined; do not overmix or the biscuits will be tough.
Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, drop heaping spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, until the tops of the biscuits are golden brown.
While the biscuits bake, mix together the 2 tablespoons of melted butter with the dried parsley flakes and remaining 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder in a small bowl.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and immediately brush the tops of each biscuit with the garlic-parsley butter mixture. Serve warm.
