Ingredients

1 can (15.5 ounces) low-sodium black or red beans

1 can (15.2 ounces) low-sodium sweet corn

1 cup fresh tomato salsa

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before beginning food preparation.

  2. Open the can of beans and pour the contents into a colander. Rinse the beans under cool running water until the liquid runs clear, then set aside to drain completely.

  3. Open the can of corn and pour it into a colander to drain off all liquid.

  4. Transfer the drained beans and corn into a medium-sized mixing bowl.

  5. Add the fresh tomato salsa to the bowl with the beans and corn.

  6. Stir all ingredients together until evenly combined. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
