Ingredients

1 medium watermelon (about 3.5 kg), rind removed

150 ml fresh lemonade

1 apple, cored and cut into 1 cm cubes

100 g frozen blueberries

Handful of ice cubes

Directions

  1. Cut the peeled watermelon in half. Cut one half into 2 cm bite-sized cubes and set aside. Cut the remaining half into smaller chunks for blending.

  2. Add approximately one-quarter of the watermelon chunks to a food processor and blend until completely liquid. Strain the watermelon juice into a large mixing bowl.

  3. Pour the lemonade into the bowl with the watermelon juice and stir until well combined.

  4. Add a handful of ice cubes to the juice mixture, then gently fold in the cubed apple and frozen blueberries.

  5. Add the reserved watermelon cubes to the punch and stir gently. Serve immediately, ladling the punch along with fruit pieces into small bowls.
