Ingredients
75 ml Soy sauce
1 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Chinese rice vinegar
3 tsp Honey
2 Garlic cloves, peeled and minced
2 tsp Fresh ginger, finely grated
pinch Dried chilli flakes (optional)
1 tbsp Rice bran, sunflower or vegetable oil for cooking
500 g Mixed stir fry vegetables, meat or fish
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey. Whisk until the honey is fully dissolved and the ingredients are well blended. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, and add chilli flakes if using. Set the sauce aside.
Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add your choice of vegetables, meat, or fish in a single layer. Let cook undisturbed for 1 minute to develop a light sear.
Pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the ingredients and toss well to coat. Continue stir-frying over high heat for 4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp, the meat has reached a safe internal temperature (165°F for poultry, 160°F for ground meat, or 145°F for whole cuts and fish), and all ingredients are fully cooked through.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately while hot.
