Ingredients
3 strips bacon
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 green onions, chopped
3/4 cup broth (seafood, vegetable, or chicken)
1 teaspoon Cajun spice
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound cooked lobster meat, diced or shredded
1/4 cup heavy cream
Salt to taste
Directions
Cook the pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Set the cooked pasta aside.
While the pasta cooks, chop the bacon into small pieces and cook in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the skillet.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the bacon fat and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the chopped bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it begins to soften.
Stir in the Cajun spice, Old Bay seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, lemon pepper, oregano, and black pepper. Toast the spices for about 1 minute to release their flavors.
Pour in the broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream until well combined.
Gently fold the diced or shredded cooked lobster meat into the sauce and warm through for 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the crispy bacon and chopped green onions. Toss everything together gently, adding pasta water as needed to reach your desired sauce consistency.
Taste the pasta and adjust seasoning with additional salt as needed. Divide among serving plates and serve immediately.
