Ingredients

2 tablespoons Corn syrup

1 cup Milk

4 tablespoons Colored sprinkles

5 Vanilla ice cream, large scoops

3 tablespoons Yellow or white cake mix

Directions

  1. Prepare two tall glasses for serving. Note that all ingredient measurements are approximate—adjust quantities based on your blender's capacity and personal preference for thickness.

  2. Pour 2 tablespoons of corn syrup into a small shallow bowl. Spread approximately half of the sprinkles into the bowl around the corn syrup. Dip the rim of the first glass into the corn syrup, then roll it through the sprinkles to coat completely. Repeat with the second glass. Set both glasses aside.

  3. Add the milk, vanilla ice cream scoops, and cake mix to your blender. Blend on medium speed until the mixture reaches a smooth, pourable milkshake consistency, approximately 30–60 seconds. If the shake is too thick, add a splash more milk; if too thin, add another scoop of ice cream.

  4. Carefully pour the blended milkshake into each prepared glass, filling to just below the sprinkle rim. Top each shake with the remaining sprinkles from the bowl.

  5. Insert a straw into each glass and serve immediately while the shake is cold and creamy.
