Ingredients
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
2 cups chopped peanuts
1 cup grapes (washed)
1 banana, sliced
1 apple, cut into wedges and washed
1 cup strawberries (washed)
Toothpicks
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning preparation.
Rinse all fresh fruit under cool running water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat dry with paper towels.
Prepare the fruit: leave grapes whole, slice the banana into 1/2-inch rounds, cut the apple into wedges, and leave strawberries whole or halve if very large.
Pour the low-fat vanilla yogurt into a shallow bowl. Add the chopped peanuts and stir well with a spoon until fully combined, creating a thick coating mixture.
Insert a toothpick into the center or side of each piece of fruit, ensuring it is firmly secured.
Hold the toothpick and dip each fruit piece into the yogurt-peanut mixture, rolling gently to coat all sides evenly.
Place coated fruit dippers on a serving plate and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to eat.
