Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1 cup chunky salsa
1/2 cup milk
6 flour tortillas (8-inch), cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring frequently to break it into smaller pieces, until it is fully browned and no pink remains, about 5–7 minutes. Drain off any excess fat using a slotted spoon or by tilting the pan.
Add the condensed tomato soup, salsa, milk, tortilla pieces, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet with the browned beef. Stir everything together until well combined, about 1–2 minutes.
Transfer the beef and tortilla mixture to a 2-quart shallow baking dish, spreading it in an even layer. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil or a lid.
Place the covered baking dish in a preheated 400°F oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through and bubbling around the edges.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and uncover it. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven uncovered for 2–3 minutes, or just until the cheese melts. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
