Ingredients

1 tablespoon Unsalted butter

2 Large eggs

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet or small frying pan over medium-low heat for 1 minute.

  2. Add the butter and allow it to melt completely, tilting the pan to coat the surface evenly.

  3. Crack both eggs directly into the center of the pan, being careful not to break the yolks.

  4. Cook undisturbed for 3–4 minutes until the egg whites are set and opaque, but the yolks remain runny.

  5. Slide the eggs onto a plate, season lightly with kosher salt and black pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
