Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced mushroom
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 can (14.5 ounce) low-sodium green beans, drained and cut
Non-stick cooking spray
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before beginning to prepare the dish.
Coat a large skillet evenly with non-stick cooking spray and place over medium-high heat.
Once the skillet is hot, add the chopped onion and sauté for approximately 3 minutes until it becomes translucent and begins to soften.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, continuing to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender.
Add the drained green beans to the skillet and stir well to combine with the onion and mushroom mixture.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the green beans are heated through completely and all vegetables are warmed to serving temperature.
Transfer the sautéed green bean mixture to a serving dish and serve immediately while hot.
