Ingredients
¼ cup dark cocoa powder
½ cup crunchy peanut butter
½ cup whole milk
2½ cups uncooked quick oats
2-3 Snickers bars, chopped into small pieces
1¾ cups sugar
½ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked quick oats and crunchy peanut butter. Mix until evenly distributed and set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, whole milk, unsalted butter, and dark cocoa powder. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Once boiling, continue heating for exactly 1½ minutes, stirring occasionally, then immediately remove from heat.
Pour the hot chocolate mixture into the bowl containing the oats and peanut butter. Stir vigorously until all ingredients are well combined.
Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly until evenly incorporated throughout the mixture.
Fold in the chopped Snickers pieces gently but thoroughly, ensuring they are distributed evenly. If the mixture appears too loose to hold together, add up to ¼ cup additional quick oats and mix until it reaches the desired consistency.
Drop rounded spoonfuls of the mixture onto waxed paper. Use a cookie cutter, the back of a spoon, or your fingers to shape each cookie into a uniform disc. Allow to set at room temperature for several minutes before serving.
