Ingredients
1 pound snap peas, trimmed
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
½ teaspoon coarse salt
Directions
Rinse the snap peas under cold water and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the stem ends and remove any strings along the sides if present.
Heat the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted and foamy, add the prepared snap peas.
Sauté the snap peas for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are bright green and tender-crisp. They should retain a slight firmness when bitten.
Remove from heat and season evenly with coarse salt. Toss gently to combine and transfer to a serving dish.
Serve immediately while the snap peas are still warm and crisp.
