Ingredients

8 ounces Ice

1 ounce Medium-coarse ground coffee

8 ounces Near-boiling water

Directions

  1. Place the ice into a serving pitcher or glass.

  2. Add the medium-coarse ground coffee directly to the ice.

  3. Slowly pour the near-boiling water over the coffee and ice, allowing the water to saturate all the grounds evenly.

  4. Stir gently to ensure even extraction for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  5. Let the mixture steep for 2–3 minutes until the coffee has fully brewed and cooled.

  6. Pour into serving glasses, leaving most of the grounds at the bottom, or strain into glasses if a cleaner cup is preferred. Serve immediately.
