Recipe GLPR5b885c39cd9cf1

Ingredients
2 fluid ounces Irish whiskey
2 teaspoons Demerara sugar
8 fluid ounces Strong hot coffee
2 heaped tablespoons Whipped cream
Directions
Heat two sturdy coffee glasses or mugs by filling them with hot water and letting them warm for 1-2 minutes, then empty. This ensures they won't crack when the hot coffee is added.
Pour 1 fluid ounce of Irish whiskey into each warmed glass.
Add 1 teaspoon of demerara sugar to each glass and stir until the sugar dissolves into the whiskey.
Pour approximately 4 fluid ounces of strong hot coffee into each glass, filling them almost to the brim. Stir well to combine the whiskey, sugar, and coffee.
Carefully spoon 1 heaped tablespoon of whipped cream over the surface of each glass, letting it float on top of the hot coffee. Serve immediately.
