Ingredients
1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Taco seasoning blend
¼ cup Fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the taco seasoning, fresh lime juice, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss gently until all pieces are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 20 to 25 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 10 minutes to prevent burning.
Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece to allow even cooking.
Place the shrimp skewers on the hot grill grates and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are opaque, firm, and have reached an internal temperature of 145°F. Do not overcook, as shrimp cook quickly.
Remove the skewers from the grill and let rest for 1 minute before serving. Serve immediately with your choice of lime wedges, rice, or fresh vegetables.
