Ingredients
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 pound frozen peeled and deveined medium shrimp, thawed
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped herbs (parsley, thyme, and/or oregano)
Directions
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and foaming.
Add the thawed shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for approximately 3 minutes until the underside begins to turn pink.
Turn the shrimp over and cook for another 2 minutes until the shrimp are fully pink and opaque throughout.
Pour in the lemon juice, increase the heat to medium-high, and allow the liquid to bubble for 30 seconds while gently stirring.
Remove from heat and season with black pepper to taste.
Divide the shrimp and pan juices equally among 4 serving plates and garnish each portion generously with the fresh chopped herbs.
