Ingredients
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 Medium onion, chopped
6 cups Swiss chard (stems chopped and leaves sliced)
¼ cup Dried cranberries
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before beginning.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
Add the chopped onion to the hot oil and sauté, stirring occasionally, until the onion becomes soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the chopped Swiss chard stems to the skillet and continue sautéing, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
Increase the heat to high, then add the sliced Swiss chard leaves and dried cranberries. Stir constantly until the leaves wilt completely, about 2-3 minutes.
Once the chard is wilted and tender, turn off the heat. Cover the skillet and let it rest for 2-3 minutes to develop the flavors.
If you prefer softer, more tender greens, allow the dish to rest covered for an additional 1-2 minutes before serving.
