Ingredients

1 can (10¾ oz.) condensed low-fat cream of mushroom soup

4 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb.)

2 cups frozen green beans

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

½ cup water

¼ tsp. dried thyme leaves

Directions

  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Place chicken breasts in the skillet and cover. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, indicating the chicken is fully cooked through.

  3. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.

  4. Add the frozen green beans, cream of mushroom soup, water, and dried thyme to the skillet. Cover and cook for 6 minutes, stirring frequently to combine and heat the sauce.

  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the green bean mixture and cover. Cook for 1 minute to warm the chicken through.

  6. Top the chicken and vegetables with the shredded cheddar cheese. Let sit for a minute until the cheese melts before serving.
