Ingredients

1 whole wheat tortilla, 7 inches across

1/4 cup low-fat peanut butter

2 tablespoons granola cereal

1/2 medium Red Delicious apple, sliced

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing the wrap.

  2. Place the whole wheat tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Spread the low-fat peanut butter evenly over approximately two-thirds of the tortilla, leaving the outer edges clear on the sides to allow room for rolling.

  3. Sprinkle the granola cereal evenly over the peanut butter layer.

  4. Cut the apple slices into small bite-sized chunks and distribute them over the granola in an even layer.

  5. Fold the left and right edges of the tortilla in toward the center, then tightly roll up the wrap from the bottom to the top in a burrito style, ensuring all ingredients are securely enclosed.

  6. Slice the wrap in half if desired and serve immediately while flavors are at their best.
