Ingredients
1 4 cup Orange juice
1 Apple
1 Orange
1 Banana
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing the fruit.
Pour the orange juice into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Rinse the apple under cool running water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
Cut the apple in half, remove the seeds and core, then dice the flesh into 1/2-inch cubes.
Immediately toss the diced apple in the orange juice, coating all surfaces to prevent oxidation and browning.
Peel the orange by removing the skin and pith with your hands or a knife, then gently separate the segments.
Cut the orange segments into bite-sized pieces, removing any large pieces of white pith if desired.
Peel the banana and slice it into approximately 1/4-inch thick rounds.
Add the orange pieces and banana slices to the bowl with the apple and orange juice.
Gently toss all the fruit together using a spoon or spatula until evenly coated with juice, being careful not to crush the fruit.
Serve immediately for the freshest texture and flavor, or refrigerate in a covered container for up to 2 hours before serving.
