Ingredients

½ apple, thinly sliced

1 mint sprig

cold water

Directions

  1. Fill a large glass jug or jar with cold water, leaving about 1-2 inches of space from the top.

  2. Add the thinly sliced apple and mint sprig to the water, gently pressing the mint to release its aromatic oils.

  3. Cover the jug or jar and place it in the refrigerator to infuse for at least 1-2 hours, or preferably overnight.

  4. The longer the mixture infuses, the more pronounced the apple and mint flavors will become. Once infused to your desired taste, pour into glasses and serve cold.

  5. Store any remaining infused water in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
