Ingredients

½ cup Fresh cilantro leaves

¼ cup Soy sauce

2 tablespoon Honey

2 tablespoon Vegetable oil

2 tablespoon Coriander seeds

1 Garlic cloves

2 teaspoon Rice vinegar

1½ pound Beef top sirloin, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

Directions

  1. Lightly toast the coriander seeds in a small dry skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant. Transfer to a mortar and pestle or spice grinder and crush into coarse pieces. Mince the garlic clove.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, crushed coriander seeds, cilantro leaves, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and vegetable oil. Stir until well blended to create the marinade.

  3. Add the beef sirloin pieces to the marinade and toss gently to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, for deeper flavor development.

  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before use.

  5. Remove the beef from the marinade and thread the pieces tightly onto the skewers, leaving about ¼ inch between each piece to allow for even cooking.

  6. Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 145°F for medium-rare. The exterior should be lightly charred and caramelized.

  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. The residual heat will continue to cook the meat gently.
