Ingredients

½ pound strawberries, hulled and quartered

¼ cup sugar

½ pound blueberries

1¼ cup low-fat plain yogurt

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the quartered strawberries and sugar. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined, about 1 minute.

  2. Add the blueberries to the strawberry mixture and blend until fully incorporated and smooth, creating a vibrant purple-red puree, approximately 1-2 minutes.

  3. Pour the blended berry mixture into a separate bowl and gently fold in the low-fat plain yogurt until evenly distributed throughout. Do not overmix; a few gentle swirls of yogurt are desirable.

  4. Divide the mixture evenly among 10 ice pop molds, filling each to about three-quarters full to allow for expansion during freezing.

  5. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold and transfer to the freezer.

  6. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or overnight until completely solid. Run warm water briefly over the outside of the molds to help release the pops before serving.

Everything here is a standard grocery find at any Charlotte chain—strawberries, blueberries, yogurt, and sugar are year-round staples. At roughly 40 cents per serving, these are genuinely cheap. The stated 370 minutes is honest; most of that is freezing time that requires zero hands-on work, so the actual prep is perhaps 15 minutes to blend and pour. They reheat poorly (they're popsicles), but that's the point—make them once, eat them all week, no fuss, no waste.
