Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed

¼ cup creamy peanut butter

¼ cup whole milk

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons caramel sauce

¼ cup light all-purpose flour

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup chopped dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)

Directions

  1. Add the drained white beans, peanut butter, milk, maple syrup, caramel sauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon to a food processor.

  2. Blend on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined, about 2–3 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

  3. Add the flour one tablespoon at a time, pulsing and blending after each addition until the hummus reaches your desired thickness. You may not need all the flour depending on preferred consistency.

  4. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate by hand using a rubber spatula until evenly distributed throughout the hummus.

  5. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld and the texture to set.

  6. Serve chilled as a dip with fresh fruit, crackers, or toast points.
