Three-ingredient simplicity with real availability at any Charlotte supermarket—coffee, sweetened condensed milk, and ice are staples at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Walmart, and ALDI, with no special stops required. The stated five minutes is honest and the drink itself requires minimal attention, making it a genuine weeknight winner. Cost per serving runs under seventy-five cents when using a decent ground coffee and a basic condensed milk brand. The only minor drawback is that iced coffee is a same-night drink; leftovers separate and dilute, so you cannot batch-make for multiple mornings.
