Ingredients

16 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, allowing the foil to extend slightly over the edges for easy removal. Chop the semisweet chocolate into small, even pieces and place them in a large microwave-safe bowl along with the sweetened condensed milk.

  2. Microwave the chocolate and condensed milk mixture on high power for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring once or twice during the process, until the chocolate is soft and beginning to melt.

  3. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the mixture continuously until completely smooth and fully blended.

  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the fudge mixture.

  5. Pour and spread the fudge mixture evenly into the prepared foil-lined baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the fudge is completely firm.

  6. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the dish using the foil edges and place on a cutting board. Cut into 6 equal portions and serve. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
