Ingredients
1 can (16 ounces) canned salmon
1 cup fat-free plain yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
4 green onions, chopped
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing the spread.
Open the can of salmon and carefully drain off the liquid. Pour the salmon into a medium bowl and use a fork to break it into small, flaked pieces, removing any large bones if present.
Add the fat-free yogurt, lemon juice, horseradish, dried dill weed, and chopped green onions to the flaked salmon.
Stir all ingredients together until well combined and spreadable. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
Transfer the salmon spread to a serving bowl or container. Garnish the top with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve immediately on bread slices, crackers, or rice cakes. Keep any leftover spread refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
