Ingredients
2 cups Cooked garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup Fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon Sesame tahini
2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and clean water before beginning preparation.
Combine the cooked chickpeas and lemon juice in a food processor or blender. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If you do not have a blender, you can mash the chickpeas by hand with a fork or potato masher until smooth, then gradually stir in the lemon juice.
Add the minced garlic, sesame tahini, and olive oil to the chickpea mixture.
Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the hummus reaches your desired consistency. If the mixture is too thick, blend in additional lemon juice or olive oil one tablespoon at a time until you reach your preferred texture.
