Ingredients

Unsalted butter, for greasing

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 lb. cooked Dungeness crabmeat, finely shredded

8 oz. raw medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, and roughly chopped

1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

1 tsp. paprika

2 tsp. minced fresh parsley

Sliced baguette, toasted, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly butter a 9-inch round baking dish or similar shallow dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan, and Monterey Jack. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

  3. Add the minced garlic to the cheese mixture and stir well to distribute evenly.

  4. Gently fold the shredded crabmeat into the cheese mixture, being careful to keep the pieces intact.

  5. Add the chopped raw shrimp to the mixture and fold gently to combine. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

  6. Transfer the dip mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  7. In a small bowl, combine the panko bread crumbs with the paprika. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the dip.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the dip is heated through and the shrimp is cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F. The topping should be light golden and the mixture should be bubbling slightly around the edges.

  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with minced fresh parsley.

  10. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices for dipping.
