Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1 banana, peeled and diced

1 kiwifruit, peeled and diced

1 apple, cored and diced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning preparation.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, banana, kiwifruit, and apple. Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over the fruit mixture.

  3. Sprinkle the sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon evenly over the fruit and lemon juice.

  4. Gently stir all ingredients together until well combined, being careful not to crush the fruit pieces.

  5. Transfer the fruit salsa to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
