Ingredients

¾ cup Coconut water

1 Granny Smith apple, cored with skin intact

1 large handful Ice

1 large handful Kale

1 Fresh mango, cored and peeled

1 Pear, cored with skin intact

1 cup Fresh pineapple chunks

1 large handful Fresh spinach

Directions

  1. Pour coconut water into a high-powered blender as the base liquid.

  2. Add the cored Granny Smith apple (keeping the skin on for extra nutrients and fiber).

  3. Add the large handful of ice to the blender.

  4. Add the kale, breaking it into smaller pieces if needed to help it blend evenly.

  5. Add the peeled and cored mango to the blender.

  6. Add the cored pear (keeping the skin intact for added fiber and nutrients).

  7. Add the fresh pineapple chunks.

  8. Add the spinach on top.

  9. Secure the blender lid and blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds, or until the mixture reaches a completely smooth, uniform consistency with no visible fruit or vegetable chunks remaining.

  10. Divide the smoothie evenly among three glasses and serve immediately. If not serving right away, cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Stir well before serving if chilled, as separation may occur.
