Ingredients

1 pound Ground turkey (85% lean)

½ cup Rolled oats (regular, dry)

1 Egg

1 tablespoon Onion (dehydrated or minced fresh)

¼ cup Ketchup

2 Celery stalks (chopped)

2 Garlic cloves (minced)

½ Green bell pepper (seeded and diced)

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning food preparation.

  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, oats, egg, onion, ketchup, celery, garlic, and green pepper. Using your hands or a large spoon, mix all ingredients together until just combined; do not overmix.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan, pressing it gently into an even layer.

  5. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meatloaf reads 165°F.

  6. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  7. Cut the meatloaf into five equal slices and serve warm.
