Ingredients

7 tablespoons butter, melted

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

3/4 cup heavy cream

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme

1/3 cup sugar

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, divided

1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Chocolate shavings and marshmallows for garnish, optional

Directions

  1. Combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and cinnamon in a medium bowl and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate to form an even crust. Set aside.

  2. Pour the heavy cream into a small saucepan and bring it just to a boil over medium-high heat.

  3. Place the chopped semi-sweet chocolate into a medium heatproof bowl and pour the hot cream over it. Let it sit undisturbed for 1 minute to allow the chocolate to soften.

  4. Stir the chocolate and cream mixture until completely smooth. Fold in the cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well incorporated. Pour this chocolate ganache into the prepared crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes, until the chocolate layer is firm.

  5. While the chocolate layer chills, beat the marshmallow creme, softened cream cheese, and remaining 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract together in a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended and fluffy.

  6. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the marshmallow mixture until completely incorporated and no white streaks remain.

  7. Spread the marshmallow layer evenly over the firm chocolate ganache in the crust, creating tall peaks if desired.

  8. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before serving. If desired, top with chocolate shavings or toasted marshmallows just before serving.
