Ingredients
1 box German chocolate cake mix
2 large eggs
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, eggs, rolled oats, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated and there are no dry streaks of cake mix remaining.
Fold the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed throughout.
Using a spoon, drop rounded portions of dough onto a greased cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350°F for 5 to 8 minutes, until the cookies are set but still slightly soft in the center.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
