Ingredients

⅛ cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 Large bananas, peeled and cut into quarters

8 Large fresh strawberries

¼ cup Unsalted peanuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

  2. Place the chocolate chips into a small microwave-safe bowl.

  3. Microwave the chocolate on high power for 10 seconds, then stir well.

  4. Continue microwaving in 10-second intervals, stirring after each round, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted (approximately 20–30 seconds total).

  5. Line a small serving tray with waxed paper.

  6. Arrange the banana pieces and strawberries on the waxed paper.

  7. Using a spoon, carefully drizzle the melted chocolate over the fruit in thin streams.

  10. Serve the chilled fruit immediately.

Every ingredient is stocked at any Charlotte chain year-round, and all are cheap—chocolate chips and peanuts from any pantry shelf, bananas under a dollar, strawberries usually two to three dollars a pint. The 15-minute claim is honest for assembly; this is raw fruit with toppings, not cooking. It's a no-fuss dessert or snack that works for any age, though it's a same-night dish since bananas brown and strawberries weep once cut. Strong value for casual entertaining or a quick family treat.
