Ingredients
1 cup low-fat fruit yogurt
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats, uncooked
1/2 cup fat-free skim milk
1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, apricots, or dates)
1/2 cup fresh apple, chopped
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing this recipe.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, low-fat fruit yogurt, and skim milk, stirring until well combined.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours, allowing the oats to soften and absorb the liquid overnight.
Remove the muesli from the refrigerator and gently fold in the chopped dried fruit, fresh apple pieces, and frozen blueberries until evenly distributed.
Divide the muesli into 5 small serving bowls, scooping equal portions into each.
Top each serving with an equal amount of the chopped toasted walnuts and serve immediately.
