Ingredients
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3 packages instant hot chocolate mix (about 3 oz total)
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cups ice
1/2 cup whipped cream
marshmallows, for topping
chocolate jimmies (sprinkles), for topping
Directions
Measure 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for about 30–45 seconds until the cream is warm to the touch but not hot (around 110–120°F). Stir gently.
Add the 3 packages of instant hot chocolate mix to the warm cream. Whisk thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved with no lumps remaining.
Pour the remaining 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream into a blender. Add the 1 1/2 cups of ice and the chocolate mixture from step 2.
Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is smooth, thick, and frosty. Pour evenly into 2 glasses.
Top each serving with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a handful of marshmallows, and a sprinkle of chocolate jimmies. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.
