Ingredients
3½ sheets matzoh sheets
1 stick butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Arrange the matzoh sheets on the prepared baking sheet, breaking them into pieces if needed to fit. They should cover the bottom of the sheet in a single layer.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar until combined and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
Evenly spread or drizzle the butter-sugar mixture over the matzoh pieces.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the mixture is bubbly and the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot matzoh. Let them sit for 1–2 minutes to soften, then spread the melted chocolate across the surface with a spatula.
Cool completely on the baking sheet or transfer to a wire rack. Once set, break into bite-sized pieces and serve.
