Ingredients
1 box German chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons almond extract
1 cup white chocolate morsels
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat your oven to 325°F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and almond extract. Mix by hand until all ingredients are well incorporated, then fold in the white chocolate morsels and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
Transfer the cookie dough to the freezer and chill for 30 to 45 minutes until the mixture is firm enough to handle.
Using a tablespoon measure, scoop the chilled dough and roll into balls. Place each ball on a greased baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart to allow room for spreading.
Bake the cookies for 13 to 15 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are just cooked through.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack for complete cooling.
