Ingredients
10 lbs whole chicken wings
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup garlic powder
1 cup soy sauce
Scallions, thinly sliced for garnish (optional)
Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and arrange them in single layers on baking sheets.
In a large bowl, combine the white sugar, brown sugar, garlic powder, and soy sauce, stirring until the sugars dissolve and the mixture forms a smooth glaze.
Add the chicken wings to the glaze and toss until all pieces are evenly coated on all sides.
Transfer the coated wings to the prepared baking sheets, arranging them in a single layer. Pour any remaining glaze over the wings.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the wings are cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F and the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
