Ingredients

2 avocados, pitted and diced

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

⅓ cup coconut milk

Directions

  1. Add the pitted and diced avocados, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and coconut milk to a blender or food processor.

  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no visible lumps. Taste the mixture and add additional honey if you prefer it sweeter.

  3. Carefully pour the chocolate mixture into ice pop molds, pressing out any air bubbles as you fill to ensure dense, smooth pops.

  4. Freeze the molds overnight (or at least 8 hours) until completely solid. Remove from molds and serve directly from the freezer.

All five ingredients are standard stock at every major Charlotte chain—avocados and coconut milk are especially reliable at Harris Teeter and ALDI. The cost per serving runs about $1.20, driven mainly by avocados at $1.50 each; this is fair for a frozen treat. The stated ten minutes ignores freezing time, which runs 4–6 hours minimum, but the active prep is genuinely ten minutes and there's no hidden complexity. This works well for meal prep and family snacking, reheats perfectly from the freezer, and avocado is peak-season affordable in North Carolina spring through early fall, though it's still workable year-round at these prices.
