Ingredients

1 can Mandarin oranges in light syrup, 11 ounce can, drained

1 can Fruit cocktail, 15 ounce can, drained

1 can Pineapple chunks, 20 ounce can, drained

2 medium Medium apples, chopped

1 medium Medium banana, sliced

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and clean running water.

  2. Open the cans of mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail, and pineapple chunks. Pour the contents into a colander or strainer and let the liquid drain completely.

  3. Rinse the apples under cool running water and pat dry. Chop them into bite-sized pieces, removing the cores.

  4. Peel the banana and slice it into rounds of even thickness.

  5. In a large bowl, combine the drained mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail, pineapple chunks, chopped apples, and sliced banana. Gently toss together until all fruits are evenly distributed.

  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until you are ready to serve.

  7. Store any leftover fruit salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
