Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 large eggs
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/2 cup grated fat-free cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Pour the vegetable oil into a medium baking dish or small cake pan, then place it in the preheating oven for 2–3 minutes until the oil is hot but not smoking.
While the oil heats, crack the eggs into a medium mixing bowl and beat them together with a fork or whisk until the whites and yolks are fully combined and the mixture is uniform.
Pour the milk into the beaten eggs and stir to combine. Add the grated cheese, garlic powder, and oregano, then mix everything together until no lumps remain and the seasonings are evenly distributed.
Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and pour the egg mixture into the center of the pan. The oil should sizzle lightly when the mixture makes contact.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and firm to the touch. The top may have a light golden color. Do not overbake; the eggs are ready when they are no longer liquid in the center.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let cool for 1–2 minutes. Cut into 4 equal portions and serve immediately while warm.
