Ingredients
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Combine brown sugar, heavy cream, margarine, pecan halves, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave the mixture on high power for 9 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking.
Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Working quickly, drop small spoonfuls of the warm mixture onto parchment paper or a silicone mat, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Allow pralines to cool and set at room temperature for approximately 4 hours before serving or storing.
