Ingredients

1 (15-oz.) can tomato sauce

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons coconut aminos

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Pour the tomato sauce, balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar, and coconut aminos into a medium saucepan. Add the Dijon mustard, kosher salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.

  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.

  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer gently for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.

  4. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with additional salt and freshly ground black pepper as needed. Allow to cool before serving or storing.
